Olive Juice’s Bontanical collection is just what the doctor ordered as a fix for our spring fever. Muted tones of tan, coral and teal make this collection soft, dreamy and perfect for warmer temps. Both this keyhole blouse and twirl skirt are the pieces that work easily into the spring wardrobe and have us feeling grateful for the change of seasons (at last!!).—CC
PS – select items just went on sale today!
Sometimes…its the most basic of pieces that are the best suited to get us through multiple seasons. Such is the case with a simple military green cotton jacket. We like this Hartford style from Elias & Grace for it’s refined and understand quality. From seasonal transitions and through to next year this piece has the strength to be a winner.—CC
Call it a minor (okay major) penchant for cute and easy summer cover-ups, we immediately purchased this Old Navy stunner. Fits the bill in every way, this cover-up is everything a good swim cover should be…sheer enough to see the swimsuit peeking though, a fun little pop of color pom pom detail, and just over $15!—CC
Old Navy, Pompom-trim Cover-up, $16.94
Upon perusing ShopBelle‘s spring collections, we were delighted to discover new French brand, Louise Misha. Clothing as sweet as can be (many items already sold out), and we truly fell for their accessories. This little clutch has proven to be a total win (for both mother/daughter)- as it recently came on a trip and worked just as well for packing hair bows and accessories as it did for looking chic with colored pencils out to dinner. Lucky for us adults, Louise Misha also makes tote bags that are quentessentially summer cool for mama.—CC
Who wants to blend in when these camouflage pants from Zara have so much style. Pair with a colorful hoodie like this bright yellow one or a simple chambray shirt for a more subdued look. We love these sharp sneakers, but a casual slip-on works just as well. Go with the loafer to prep it up or a pair of Van’s for a more hipster vibe. –CC
We highlighted this brand a few years ago as a ‘best of spring’ and it just keeps getting better. Poéme & Poésie embodies both heirloom and modern qualities in a perfect blend of to-die-for pieces. Simple yet exquisite, the details and embroidery truly make this brand stand out among the rest. Ideal for gift giving and/or to keep for the next generation, this collection will make your heart skip a beat. –CC
How to wear a tutu or tulle skirt without looking super frilly or like you are playing dress-up – just add stripes and denim! We love the look of this soft colored ballerina-like skirt combined with a marinier’s tee and jean jacket. Add a sneaker for a sporty look or these metallic slippers for a little more polish. –CC

With the kindness and love of my dear friend and thoughtful business partner Natalie, I was able to take a few months after the birth of my son Vaughan, to soak up every moment of this precious time. And now that he is 3 months old, I am back with a renewed obsession of all things children’s fashion. Not to mention a little first hand experience in dressing boys. Just before my due date, not knowing whether I was having a boy or girl, I purchased a number of neutral pieces from Tane Organics–of which are some of my absolute favorites. Worn as sets and as layers with other pieces and outfits, these soft and cozy knits are ideal. Thank you to our loyal readers and beloved brands for the many kind notes and lovely gifts. I am thrilled to be back…and with one more ‘chic child’ in tow. xx, Christin
Nautical is a perennial best-in-show for both boys and girls. Afterall, who doesn’t love a good navy and white stripe? UK retailer Elias & Grace is not only one of our favorite international shopping sites, but they are making shopping a lot easier by offering the “shop by trend” option. We are envisioning endless summer days with this outfit below.—CC
A mini-me version of our favorite (Ray-ban) sunglasses is sure to please the most discerning fashionistas. Acccessories like sunglasses are even more appealing when they aren’t a big investment, and at under $15, these glasses from the Gap have us seeing the light.—CC
We’re back…and think our current covets are a great way to kick off Springtime! We are still in a bit of a seasonal transition, so neutrals are your key to getting through this month. A colorful pop of accessories pairs well with a transitional palette, so have fun with a bright bag or pair of sunnies. A little facial color is done right with this Claudio Riaz bronzer and brush. A chic poncho like this Isabel Marant is perfect now belted with jeans, and as a bathing suit cover-up this summer. And who doesn’t love a fun little jewelry update like this Naomi Gray midi-ring. Here’s looking forward to warmer days ahead!
