One look at the forecast on the northeast for days ahead has us in a rain daze. What makes the rainy weather better than a new raincoat?! A transparent (yet still decorative) raincoat is the way to go to lift the spirits and let the spring clothing shine through. Lets hope these April showers bring lots of May flowers.—CC

We love the French line Saint James for their nautical inspired stripes that translate across so many different styles. Though not that easy to find–when you do, they are well worth the purchase. They have recently opened several stores in the US, and this website has the most complete collection online. A staple for boys, we adore this classic striped sweater and think it should be part of every spring/summer wardrobe. –CC
We have both dealt with our fair share of eczema and between Natalie and I, we have tried almost everything on the market. My son Vaughan really struggled with eczema throughout his first year and from diet to detergents to products, nothing seemed to work. I then saw an allergist who suggested Vanicream, which I assumed would just be another product to add to my vast collection, but to my surprise it worked! Like magic. I have never had anything make such a difference and so quickly. Within days the eczema was gone and has yet to return. I can’t guarantee that you will have the same results, but if your child is struggling…I know you will probably try anything. And I can’t recommend anything more. xx, Christin

A new concept introduced to us by one our dearest loyal readers, Kidizen is a new mobile app that allows you to buy and sell previously loved children’s clothes in a snap right from your phone. Maybe its time for a little spring cleaning…and you have a few items or bags full…maybe even some of them still have the tags on them…or they wore it once at best. Become a ‘kidizen’ and the rest is in your hands. We love a stylish way to recycle. –CC
