Maybe it’s because we’re still ogling the photos from last week’s couture collections (Gaultier’s tribute to Amy Winehouse? Heaven!), but our love affair with la mode francaise is more ardent than ever. Our friend Erin Gates (Elements of Style Blog) just returned from a trip to Paris, and her photos are full of the sort of effortlessly chic, expressive style the French are known for.
