Easy Summer Dresses

Consider the little cotton dress to be your daughter’s most versatile and effortless basic. It requires no styling (except maybe some sandals and sneakers or a cardigan), and it will serve her well in class, at the playground, on a playdate, at the beach, and even out to dinner.  The common misconception that dresses should be strictly reserved for formal affairs no longer rings true. Toss-on cotton styles, like kaftans, jumpers, and sundresses, are as casual as can be, and once they start looking a little tired, they can be re-purposed as beach cover-ups.
