It was only a matter of time before Italian luxury purveyor Gucci set up shop exclusively for bambinos in New York City. The 1,443 square foot space on Fifth Avenue, which opened last month, features gorgeous items for babies (0-9 months) and children ages 2-8. Creative director Frida Giannini conceived the space with “downsized proportions” and “Guccissima carpet” (!!) to best display the leather goods, blankets, clothing, and accessories. For the second year in a row, the brand has made a $1 million donation to UNICEF’s Schools for Africa initiative on behalf of the children’s collection. What do you think of these looks from the line? Worth the splurge?—CC
