Hatch by Two Birds Maternity Line

Naturally we focus mainly on clothing for your little one, but we know many of our readers are pregnant or have friends who are currently pregnant. Which is why we decided to share a little tip on a maternity fashion line posted by Lucky Kids this week. The line goes on sale on Gilt Children today at noon and the beautiful Christy T sure seems to like it even as non-maternity wear…consider us intrigued.—CC

Far From Pregnant? You’ll Still Want to Wear Hatch: Christy Turlington Does!

Last night we mingled with supermodel Christy Turlington (yes, she really IS that gorgeous in person) and Ariane Goldman—the designer behind the ultra-versatile bridesmaids dress collection Two Birds—at a party celebrating Turlington’s new documentary film No Woman, No Cry and Hatch by Two Birds’ upcoming sale with Gilt Children, which [is live now].

Proving that the uber-stylish pieces in the Hatch maternity collection really can be worn at all stages of life, Turlington wore a crazy-sexy lattice sleeve mini dress. Hopelessly gorgeous pregnant models strolled around in various stages of maternity wearing Hatch’s flowy silk dresses, which several non-preggo Lucky editors were eyeing.

Since portions of the Hatch sale will go to support Turlington’s charity Every Mother Counts, we’re totally not feeling gilt-y (get it?) about [purchasing some pieces]—there’s a long striped tee shirt dress (with pockets!) that we can’t wait to wear with ankle boots and a leather jacket.
