With rain forecast for much of the week on the east coast, we find ourselves perusing rain gear online. Are umbrellas really necessary for your little one in the rain? It is tempting to add a the matching umbrella to the cart to complete the rainy day look, but its certainly not a necessity in most cases. If you live in a walking city and your child walks rather than strolls to class, then yes, an umbrella is a good idea. Otherwise, the stroller and hooded raincoats should mostly have you covered.
