A native of Naples, Florida and San Francisco, Beard honed her fashion eye as a buyer before launching Veronica Beard, a ready-to-wear collection, with her sister in law, Veronica Miele Beard, in Fall 2010. A graduate of Tulane University and Parsons School of Design, she has two boys, ages 2 and 5, and is actively involved in charities such as Memorial Sloan Kettering and Baby Buggy.
